Science
Intent
Our Science curriculum at St Christopher’s encourages children to ask important questions about the world. We aim to enable children to develop a curiosity and excitement for how and why things work or happen. Teaching offers children a wide range of opportunities to explore ideas through hands on experiments and practical investigations. We are lucky to have excellent outdoor facilities which we use regularly within our Science teaching of the natural world. This helps build children’s respect and enthusiasm for the natural world and all things within it. We provide children with the skills to think creatively and deeply in order to solve problems and understand the world that they are growing up in. Children will leave St Christopher’s equipped with the skills and scientific knowledge of how Science impacts lives in the present and future.
